Tabor Church's story is a rich one, filled with over 126 years of ministry to people who live in the shoreline communities of South Central Connecticut. As the pages of this Website attest, Tabor is a wonderful, unique place. We are named after a mountain in the Holy Land where, tradition has it, the Transfiguration of Christ occurred. Even as Jesus was transformed in the light of God before his disciples on Mount Tabor, God transforms individuals at Tabor Church through God's Word and the Sacraments and through a loving, supportive community. Our witness to Christ includes diverse ministry programs and community activities. We're a church on the move!
Our community programs range from the Tabor Community Christian Preschool to our mission partnership with Resurrection Lutheran Church in New Haven, CT. Tabor Church proclaims God's love as FUN: Forever, Unconditional and Nurturing. We strive to serve rather than to be served.

Directions to Tabor Lutheran Church at 45 Tabor Drive Branford, CT 06405-5225: From I95 South, take exit 54, turn left at the end of the exit onto Cedar Street. From I95 North, take exit 54 turn right at the end of the exit onto Cedar Street. Cross Rt. 1 at the light, continue on Cedar Street bearing right to the end of Cedar at Main Street. St. Mary's Church will be directly in front of you. Take a left, take a right at the corner of the Branford Green onto Montowese Street. Continue on Montowese Street going under the railroad bridge. Take a left just beyond the bridge over the Branford River onto Tabor Drive. Tabor is on your right, go around to the parking lot and enter the main door for the church. The far door enters the Fellowship Hall.
