Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church

Tabor Lutheran Church

Funeral for Rev Bryan L Myers
January 9, 2022

Due to our concern for our congregation and the public, and our commitment to protecting us all from the omicron variant of Covid-19, we are temporarily pausing all in-person and in-house services and meetings.   We look forward to coming together again, and we are aiming for a return date of March 13, 2022.  Updates will appear here as decisions are made.

Come Visit Us!

Tabor Church's story is a rich one, filled with over 125 years of ministry to people who live in the shoreline communities of South Central Connecticut. As the pages of this Website attest, Tabor is a wonderful, unique place. We are named after a mountain in the Holy Land where, tradition has it, the Transfiguration of Christ occurred. Even as Jesus was transformed in the light of God before his disciples on Mount Tabor, God transforms individuals at Tabor Church through God's Word and the Sacraments and through a loving, supportive community. Our witness to Christ includes diverse ministry programs and community activities. We're a church on the move! Our community programs range from the Tabor Christian Community Preschool and the new Tabor Arts Branford. Tabor Church proclaims God's love as FUN: Forever, Unconditional and Nurturing. We strive to serve rather than to be served. These pages only begin to introduce the vibrant life of Tabor Church. To learn more about us, come visit us in person, just east of the Branford Green off Route 146. We're eager to meet you. God bless!

Tabor's Worship Service is held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.  Please contact the church office if you would like to have the zoom link emailed to you.
